Visitation of Maulana Munir-Ud-Deen Shams Sahib to Africa Independent Television (AIT)

The visit was marked by deep appreciation from AIT, particularly for the hospitality extended to their journalists who covered the recent International Jalsa Salana Jalsauk in the United Kingdom . In his remarks, Maulana Sahib commended AIT for its professionalism and commitment to balanced reporting. He emphasized the need for greater collaboration between the media and Jama’at Ahmadiyya in promoting peace, which aligns with the core values of the Jama’at; spreading love and harmony across the globe. In response, the Director of AIT expressed gratitude for the visit and reaffirmed the station’s dedication to fostering positive engagement. Highlighing AIT’s willingness to offer specialized training for members on international media standards, strengthening their capacity for effective communication.

The Managing Director of Muslim Television Ahmadiyya International (MTA), Maulana Munir ud-Deen Shams Sahib, held a press conference today with representatives from various media houses. During the session, he emphasized the urgent need for global peace, cautioning against the dangers of a Third World War and advocating for harmony among nations. He also clarified that Islamic Shariah does not infringe upon the rights of non-Muslims, highlighting its principles of justice and coexistence. Furthermore, he announced MTA’s collaboration with leading Nigerian television stations, including TVC, AIT, MITV, and NTA, to expand digital content distribution. As a gesture of goodwill and enlightenment, he presented copies of the book World Crisis and the Pathway to Peace by Hazrat Khalifatul Masih V (may Allah be his Helper) to all members of the press, underscoring the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community’s commitment to promoting peace and understanding worldwide.

Visitation to Masroor International Technical College (MITC)

As part of his historic visit to the Jamia Community, the Managing Director Muslim Television Ahmadiyya International, Maulana Munir-ud-Deen Shams sahib visited Masroor International Technical College (MITC), where he was warmly received by the staff and students. He was briefed on the college’s mission to provide technical and vocational education, equipping students with essential skills for both personal and national development. Addressing the students, Maulana Sahib emphasized the Islamic perspective on knowledge, highlighting the balance between spiritual and practical education. He reminded them that technical expertise plays a crucial role in nation-building and urged them to use their talents for the betterment of society. Visit to Ahmadiyya Science College Ilaro (ASCI)

The final stop of the tour was Ahmadiyya Science College Ilaro (ASCI). Maulana Muneer-ud-Deen Shams Sahib commended the school’s efforts in science and academic excellence. He encouraged students to combine scientific knowledge with Islamic morals, ensuring that their education benefits humanity. He also advised them to seek guidance from Allah Almighty and to work hard towards achieving their academic and personal goals.

Visit to Madrasatut Tahfidhil Qur’an

Maulana Munir ud Din Shams sahib proceeded to Madrasatut Tahfidhil Qur’an, where he was warmly welcomed by the Coordinator, Hafiz Muslihudeen Opayemi sahib. Respected Hafiz Abdul Ghaniy Shobambi introduced the teachers and staff to Maulana Sahib. During his speech, he expressed admiration for the dedication of the students who are memorizing the Holy Qur’an. He encouraged them to remain steadfast in their pursuit of knowledge and to seek Allah’s help in preserving the Quran in their hearts. He concluded his visit with prayers for the students and their continued success in their studies. A group photograph was also taken with students and staff.

Visitation of Maulana Munir-ud-Deen Shams Sahib to Jamia Community

On February 11, 2025, the Jamia Community had the distinct honor of welcoming Maulana Munir i-ud-Deen Shams Sahib, a distinguished guest from the United Kingdom. Maulana Sahib serves as the Managing Director of MTA International, Naib Imam of Mubarak Mosque Islamabad, and Additional Wakalat Tasneef. This marked his first visit to Nigeria and, notably, to the Jamia Community. Accompanying him was Respected Amir Sahib, Alhaji Barr. Abdul Azeez Folorunsho Alatoye, along with an esteemed entourage from the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at. Members of Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya extended a guard of honor to Maulana Sahib, symbolizing their deep respect and admiration for his presence. Maulana Sahib began his tour at Jamia Ahmadiyya Nigeria, the Missionary Training College of the Jama’at, where he addressed the students, emphasizing their vital role as future missionaries in propagating the true teachings of Islam. He referenced Surah Aal-e-Imran, verse 105, reminding the students of their responsibility: “And let there be from you a nation inviting to [all that is] good, enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong, and those will be the successful.” He encouraged them to embody this Quranic guidance, remain steadfast in their pursuit of knowledge, and maintain a strong connection with Huzoor Anwar (aba) through regular correspondence and prayers. The visit concluded with a special prayer, marking a profound moment of reflection and inspiration for the students and faculty.

A. Akinloye, Shateru II atbhia palace.

The Managing Director of the Muslim Television Ahmadiyya International, Maulana Munir ud Din Shams sahib, the Director MTA Africa Studios respected Umar Safir sahib with respected Amir sahib Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at of Nigeria and other important personalities paid a courtesy visit to the Olomu of Ajiran, Oba T. A. Akinloye, Shateru II atbhia palace. During the visit, the Amir sahib referenced a past incident involving a dispute of Jama’at’s land. He recounted that when the case was brought before the Olomu, he delivered a fair and just ruling that was well received by all parties involved.

MTA International and Ahmadiyya Leadership Pay Courtesy Visit to Former Amir of Nigeria

On February 10, 2025, a high-level delegation from MTA International and the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at of Nigeria paid a courtesy visit to the former Amir (National President) of the Jama’at in Nigeria, Alhaji (Engr.) Hussein Taiwo Sumonu, at his residence. The distinguished delegation included Maulana Munir ud Din Shams, Managing Director of MTA International; Mr. Umar Safir, Director of MTA Africa; Alhaji (Barr.) Alatoye Folorunso AbdulAzeez, the current Amir of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Nigeria; and Dr. Qasim Akinreti, Coordinator of MTA Nigeria Studios. The visit served as a gesture of love and appreciation for Alhaji Sumonu’s invaluable contributions to the Jama’at and the progress of Islam in Nigeria. Also Present were the Lagos Island Circuit President, Circuit Missionary, Jama’at Presidents and other respected members of the Jama’at.
