The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at of Nigeria (“AMJN”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting the privacy, confidentiality, integrity, and security of personal data entrusted to us by our members, employees, volunteers, students, donors, beneficiaries, visitors, contractors, and all other individuals with whom we interact.

This Privacy Policy explains how AMJN collects, processes, stores, uses, discloses, transfers, and protects personal data in accordance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (“NDPA”), applicable regulations issued by the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (“NDPC”), and other relevant laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

This Privacy Policy applies to all personal data processed by AMJN through its National Secretariat, regional and local Jama’ats, auxiliary organizations, educational institutions, healthcare facilities, humanitarian programmes, websites, applications, social media platforms, and any other services operated by or on behalf of AMJN.

By interacting with AMJN, attending our events, becoming a member, making a donation, using our services, visiting our websites, or otherwise providing personal information to us, you acknowledge that your personal data may be processed in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

2. ABOUT AMJN

Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at of Nigeria is a religious and charitable organization incorporated in Nigeria under the Land (Perpetual Succession) Act.

AMJN is dedicated to:

• Promoting the spiritual, moral, and religious development of its members.

• Propagating the peaceful teachings of Islam.

• Establishing and maintaining mosques, schools, universities, hospitals, clinics, mission houses, and other institutions.

• Supporting education, scholarship, research, and intellectual development.

• Providing humanitarian assistance, social welfare, disaster relief, and community development programmes.

• Organizing religious, educational, social, and community events.

• Supporting the development of youth, women, children, and the elderly development through its auxiliary organizations.

For the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at of Nigeria acts as the Data Controller in respect of personal data collected and processed through its activities.

5. COMPLIANCE WITH THE NIGERIA DATA PROTECTION ACT 2023
