They were received in the boardroom by Mrs. Victoria Abiola Ajayi, the Group MD/CEO of TVC News having been welcomed by Ibraheem Shitta, a key management staff of TVC. The meeting began with Mrs. Victoria Abiola Ajayi introducing the TVC board members, followed by Hafis Omotayo Yunus, who introduced the MTA delegation. During the discussion, the MD of MTA International thanked TVC News for their warm reception and shared insights about Muslim Television Ahmadiyya (MTA). He highlighted that about 99% of MTA’s workforce consists of volunteers from various professional backgrounds who work without pay. He also emphasized the importance of collaboration and knowledge sharing between MTA and TVC. The Amir of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Nigeria spoke about the organization’s dedication to promoting peace. He mentioned that the Global Leader of the Ahmadiyya Community has delivered numerous lectures on world peace and non-violence. He encouraged TVC to continue using its platform to spread messages of peace across the country. In response, Mrs. Victoria Abiola Ajayi commended MTA’s efforts and assured them that TVC is open to future collaborations to strengthen their relationship. The meeting ended with the MD of MTA International presenting gifts to Mrs. Victoria Abiola Ajayi and the TVC board members. Afterward, Mr..Ibraheem Shitta led the MTA delegation on a brief tour of TVC’s facilities.

A Warm Welcome for MTA International’s Managing Director on His Working Visit to Nigeria The respected Amir Sahib of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at of Nigeria warmly welcomed the Distinguished Managing Director of Muslim Television Ahmadiyya (MTA) International, Maulana Munir ud Din Shams Sahib, on his official working visit which is his first to be in Nigeria. Accompanying him on this special occasion were the respected Missionary-in-Charge, Maulvi Adnan Tahir Sahib; the esteemed Director of MTA International and Africa Studios, respected Umar Safir Sahib; the Sadr Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya Nigeria; and the MTA Coordinator for Nigeria Studio, Dr. Qaseem Akinreti Sahib. Their presence underscored the spirit of unity and dedication to the noble mission of spreading the peaceful message of Islam through the blessed platform of MTA International.

MITC Matriculation Ceremony: A New Chapter Begins!

AMIR AHMADIYYA MUSLIM JAMAAT NIGERIA VISITS PRESIDENTIAL REPRESENTATIVE, EXPRESSES APPRECIATION FOR 2024 JALSA SALANA

The Amir (National President) of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Nigeria, Alhaji (Barr.) Alatoye Folorunso AbdulAzeez, led a delegation to visit Hon. Idris Ajimobi, the Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Livestock Development, on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. The visitation took place in the premises of the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Abuja and was an appreciation for his representation of the President at the recently concluded 2024 annual Jalsa Salana Conference. The Amir was accompanied by notable members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat, including Dr. AbdulGaniy Enahoro (former Naib Amir for the Eastern Region), Alhaji Ahmed Sanusi (Circuit President, Abuja), Maulvi Nasir-Ahmad Mahmood ( Central Missionary, Abuja), Brother Muhammad Abdulkareem, and Dr. AbdulAzeez Ambaliu (President, Fazl Omar Sports Foundation, Nigeria). During the meeting, the Amir expressed his profound gratitude to Hon. Idris Ajimobi for attending the Jalsa Salana as the President’s representative, commending the depth of his knowledge and the substance of his address at the event. He emphasized the importance of the annual Jalsa Salana in fostering unity and interfaith understanding. The Amir further extended a formal invitation to President Tinubu for the 2025 edition of the Jalsa Salana, noting that it would be a historic occasion if the President attended, as it would mark the first time a sitting Nigerian President graced the event in person. In his response, Hon. Idris Ajimobi assured the delegation that he would deliver the invitation to the President in due time. Amir sahib’s Inspirational Visit to Ibogun Jamaat Marks a Milestone in Spiritual Growth January 19, 2025, will be etched in the memories of the Ahmadiyya community in Nigeria, particularly the Ibogun Jamaat, as a day of immense spiritual significance. Amir sahib, the revered leader of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in Nigeria, graced the occasion of Aaminul Quran at Ibogun Jamaat of Ifo Circuit. The atmosphere was electric as Amir sahib Alh. (Barr) Alatoye Folorunso Abdul Azeez sahib arrived at the venue, warmly received by an enthusiastic gathering of members from the Circuit Aamila, Majlis Ansarullah, Majlis Khudammul Ahmadiyya, and Lajna Imaillah. The excitement was palpable, and the sense of gratitude was evident on every face. During his visit, Amir sahib took the opportunity to inspect the new site designated for the Ibogun Jamaat Mosque. The Amir of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Nigeria, Alhaji (Barr.) Alatoye Folorunso Abdul Azeez, paid a courtesy visit to His Royal Highness, the Emir of Bauchi, Alhaji (Dr.) Rilwanu Sulaimanu Adamu, CFR. The Emir warmly received the Amir and expressed deep appreciation for the thoughtful gesture, commending it as a profound expression of respect and love. This significant visit was part of the Amir’s condolence visit to the family of Alhaji Muhammad Mahmud Maishanu, who meritoriously served as the Amir of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Nigeria from 1998 to 2004. May Almighty Allah forgive his shortcomings and accept him in aljanat firdaoz.

Amir Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at of Nigeria Urges Nigerians to Pray for the Nation and Trust in Allah

The Amir sahib, Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at of Nigeria, Alh. Barrister Alatoye Folorunso Azeez sahib, has called on Nigerians to fervently pray for the nation and place their trust in Allah the Almighty during a courtesy visit to His Royal Highness, Alhaji Dr. Abubakar Ahmed Yakubu II, Ejeh of Ankpa; Chairman Ankpa Traditional Council/vice Chairman Igala Area Traditional Council, Coordinator North Central Traditional Rulers. The visit took place at the royal father’s residence in Abuja, where the Amir sahib led a delegation comprising key members of the Jama’at. During the visit, the Amir sahib extended a formal invitation to His Royal Highness to attend the 70th Jalsa Salana (Annual Convention) of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at, scheduled to hold in Ilaro, Ogun State. He expressed appreciation for the royal father’s steadfastness and commitment to upholding the true principles of Islam as espoused by the Jama’at. In his remarks, Amir sahib emphasized the importance of gratitude to Allah, unity, peace, and collective prayers for the progress of the nation. He urged Nigerians to remain hopeful and rely on Allah’s guidance during challenging times. In response, His Royal Highness graciously accepted the invitation to the Jalsa Salana and extended a reciprocal invitation to the Amir to visit the Ankpa Kingdom. The Amir expressed his also happily accepted the invitation, further strengthening ties between the Jama’at and the traditional institution. His Royal Highness expressed his wishes that Nigerians pray for leaders to succeed rather than cursing the leaders which has ripple effects on all.
