On February 11, 2025, the Jamia Community had the distinct honor of welcoming Maulana Munir i-ud-Deen Shams Sahib, a distinguished guest from the United Kingdom. Maulana Sahib serves as the Managing Director of MTA International, Naib Imam of Mubarak Mosque Islamabad, and Additional Wakalat Tasneef. This marked his first visit to Nigeria and, notably, to the Jamia Community.
Accompanying him was Respected Amir Sahib, Alhaji Barr. Abdul Azeez Folorunsho Alatoye, along with an esteemed entourage from the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at. Members of Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya extended a guard of honor to Maulana Sahib, symbolizing their deep respect and admiration for his presence.
Maulana Sahib began his tour at Jamia Ahmadiyya Nigeria, the Missionary Training College of the Jama’at, where he addressed the students, emphasizing their vital role as future missionaries in propagating the true teachings of Islam.
He referenced Surah Aal-e-Imran, verse 105, reminding the students of their responsibility:
“And let there be from you a nation inviting to [all that is] good, enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong, and those will be the successful.”

He encouraged them to embody this Quranic guidance, remain steadfast in their pursuit of knowledge, and maintain a strong connection with Huzoor Anwar (aba) through regular correspondence and prayers.
The visit concluded with a special prayer, marking a profound moment of reflection and inspiration for the students and faculty.
