On February 10, 2025, a high-level delegation from MTA International and the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at of Nigeria paid a courtesy visit to the former Amir (National President) of the Jama’at in Nigeria, Alhaji (Engr.) Hussein Taiwo Sumonu, at his residence.
The distinguished delegation included Maulana Munir ud Din Shams, Managing Director of MTA International; Mr. Umar Safir, Director of MTA Africa; Alhaji (Barr.) Alatoye Folorunso AbdulAzeez, the current Amir of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Nigeria; and Dr. Qasim Akinreti, Coordinator of MTA Nigeria Studios.
The visit served as a gesture of love and appreciation for Alhaji Sumonu’s invaluable contributions to the Jama’at and the progress of Islam in Nigeria. Also Present were the Lagos Island Circuit President, Circuit Missionary, Jama’at Presidents and other respected members of the Jama’at.
