Amir AMJN Engages with International Media and Dignitaries at UK Jalsa Salana

The Respected Amir Sahib of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Nigeria, Alhaji Barrister Alatoye Folorunso Azeez Sahib, graciously granted interviews to TVC and MTA International. He also had the honour of meeting with the esteemed Amir and Missionary-in-Charge of Uganda, Al-Hajji Maulana Ali Kaire Sahib, Amir Sahib Sierra Leone; Mr. Musa Mewa Sahib, as well as the distinguished President of the Pan-African Ahmadiyya Muslim Association (PAAMA), Mr. Tommy Kallon Sahib. In a similar vein, the respected Amir and Missionary-in-Charge of Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission Ghana, Maulana Mohammed Bin Salih Sahib, also granted an interview to MTA International, further contributing to the global outreach and message of peace championed by the Jama’at.

Amir AMJN and High Chief Adetoyese Kareem Lawal Arrive in London for 2025 UK Jalsa Salana

Alhamdulillahi Robbil A’alameen The Respected Amir Sahib and High Chief Adetoyese Kareem Lawal, the Regent and Eesa of Ikirun landed safely at Heathrow Airport, London some hours ago for 2025 UK Jalsa Salana. They were warmly received by the Officers from the Tabshir Office, Nigerian Ahmadi Family members and Secretary Umur Kharijiyah Mitcham Jamaat. The Amir sahib appreciates the warm reception.

Amir AMJN Departs for UK to Attend Jalsa Salana and Present Minaret University License to His Holiness

  The Respected Amir Sahib of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at of Nigeria is departing for the United Kingdom to participate in the Jalsa Salana and formally present the license of the newly approved Minaret University to His Holiness, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad (aba). Accompanying the Amir Sahib as the Chancellor of Minaret University are distinguished personalities including the Pro Chancellor; Alhaji (Dr) Hassan A. Sumonu, the Vice Chancellor, Professor Abdullah Abdur Rahman; and the Regend and Eesa of Ikirunland, Chief Adetoyese Kareem Lawal. With the taking off team is the Acting Amir; Dr AbdulLateef Busari, our Former Amirs; Alhaj (Engr) Hussein Sunmonu and Professor Mashhud Adenrele Fashola. Also with the team is our Former Naib Amir; Alhaj (Engr) Ahmed Alhassan, the Corporate Affairs Director; Alhaj Lakunle Bello and the General Secretary; Alhaj AbdulJabbar Ayelaagbe. Amir AMJN Commissions Advanced Digital X-ray Machine at Ahmadiyya Hospital, Ojokoro

With a deep sense of gratitude and progress, the respected Amir sahib today gracefully commissioned a brand new Digital X-ray machine at the Ahmadiyya Hospital, Ojokoro, Lagos. The newly installed Digital X-ray Machine is expected to enhance medical service delivery at the hospital by providing instant imaging results and improving diagnostic efficiency, thereby ensuring better healthcare for patients. This milestone reflects the unwavering commitment of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community to the well-being of all, as it continues to invest in modern medical facilities and compassionate service to humanity.

Amir Sahib Commissions Jama’at Mission House in Ilorin – Friday, June 13, 2025

The Amir of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Nigeria, Alhaji Barrister Alatoye Folorunso AbdulAzeez sahib, has officially inaugurated a new Mission House at Agbo‑Oba Jama’at, Ilorin, Kwara State. He was warmly received by members of the Jama’at and was accompanied by esteemed leaders, including the respected Missionary‑in‑charge, Maulvi Adnan Tahir sahib; the Naib Amir (Tabligh & Tajneed), Alhaji Dr. Abdul‑Latif Busari sahib; Ilorin Circuit President, Engr. Busari Abdul‑Hakeem sahib; Maulvi Rana Akram sahib; Maulvi Abdullateef Ilori sahib; Qaid Kwara Ilaqa, Bro. Shakur Abdussalam sahib; and Mu’allim Muhammadul Waiz Apooyin sahib, among others. This significant event marks yet another milestone in the growth and spiritual progress of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at in Nigeria.

The respected Amir Sahib of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Nigeria graciously commissioned a new mosque in Uraka, Epe, Lagos State, a remarkable milestone in the spiritual advancement of the local community. Present at the blessed occasion were the esteemed Missionary-in-Charge, Maulvi Adnan Tahir Sahib; former Naib Amir (Special Duties), Alhaji Ahmed Al-Hassan Sahib; National Jaidad Secretary, Builder Towolawi Sahib; the Circuit President of Epe; Mr. I. O. Agbomeji; the Circuit Missionary, Muallim Saheed Mikail-Falade; along with other distinguished personalities of the Jama’at.

The Board and Management of Minaret International University Foundation Celebrates Minaret University Approval with Courtesy Visit to the National University Commission

March 10, 2025 Following the Nigerian government’s approval for the commencement of Minaret University; granted at the Federal Executive Council meeting in Abuja on March 3, the Jama’at delegation, led by the esteemed Amir Sahib of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at of Nigeria, Alhaj Alatoye Folorunso AbdulAzeez sahib paid a courtesy visit to Professor Abdullahi Yusufu Ribadu; Executive Secretary of the National University Commission and the Management of the Commission. The delegation expressed deep appreciation and extended its goodwill for the approval of the university promising quality university education. Responding, the Executive Secretary said Minaret as the name suggest stands out in any environment and nothing less is expected knowing Ahmadiyya for quality and standards. He promised the support of the Commission at anytime it is needed. Accompanying the Amir Sahib were several distinguished dignitaries, including the former Amir; Professor Mash’ud Adenrele Fashola; Naib Amir for Finance and Administration, Alhaj Mufadil Bankole Sahib; Naib Amir for Tabligh and Tajneed, Dr. Abdul Latif Busari Sahib; former Naibeen Amir, Dr. Y. A.
