Qur’an as the Compass of Life: Amir Sahib’s Historic Visit to Monatan Circuit

The Aminul Qur’an programme at Monatan Circuit became a profound moment of spiritual awakening and institutional reflection as the Respected Amir sahib, Alh. Barr. Alatoye Folorunso Azeez sahib, admonished members that the Qur’an must be embraced as a complete guide for life, not merely a text for recitation or ceremonial reference. In his address, the Amir sahib stressed that individual conduct, family life, leadership, education, and societal development must all be shaped by the teachings of the Holy Qur’an. He reminded the gathering that true success lies in aligning daily decisions with Qur’anic principles, noting that a community that lives by the Qur’an will naturally produce disciplined, principled, and trustworthy individuals. The Amir sahib arrived with a distinguished entourage that added weight and honour to the occasion. With him were the Naib Amir (Finance and Administration), Alh. Mufadil Bankole sahib; the General Secretary, Alh. AbdulJabbar Ayelaagbe sahib; the Vice Chancellor of Minaret University, Ikirun, Prof. Abdur Rahman Oladele Abdullah sahib; the Assistant General Secretaries, Bro. Nurudeen Akinreti sahib and Bro.
